English classes are provided for adults who are still learning the English Language. This program provides basic English vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, speaking, listening, and culture through various media. There is a $25.00 registration fee for this class. This fee is waived if you have a Bridge Card - please bring it with you to registration.

Classes are provided September through May as follows:

Beginner: Monday-Thursday 9am-11:30am
Intermediate: Monday & Wednesday 8:30am-11:30am
Advanced: Tuesday & Thursday 8:30am-11:30am

Beginner/Intermediate Conversation: Tuesday 11:45am-1pm
Intermediate/Advanced Conversation: Wednesday 11:45am-1pm

All levels are offered on Tuesday & Thursday evenings from 6:15pm-9:15PM

Winter REGISTRATION BEGINS january 8th

Registration Hours:

  • Monday and Tuesday,  Open Enrollment from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
  • Wednesday and Thursday,  Open Enrollment from 2:00p.m. - 6:00p.m.

Before coming in for your registration appointment, please print the following documents and complete ALL SECTIONS prior to coming in.  Doing so will greatly reduce the amount of time registration takes.

Students who are age 20 or older as of September 1st, 2017 will be required to take a reading level test at registration prior to registering for courses.  The reading test and registration take approximately two hours total, though that time can be reduced by coming in with the above documents already completed.  

Classes will begin January 23, 2018.

Students must register in person and will need to take our Reading Assessment prior to actually scheduling classes. The testing process and registration take approximately 1 hour. You must bring a valid drivers license/state ID or passport to verify birth date. Please do not bring children to registration as child care is not provided.
